Secure Insurance Consultancy successfully organized the “Nature Secure – Every Future Begins with Nature” programme as part of the World Environment Day initiative to promote environmental awareness and educate the public about the importance of medicinal plants.
The programme commenced with a prayer song by Mr. Joyson and Ms. Manisha, followed by a warm welcome to the gathering. The event was gracefully hosted by Mrs. Jacintha Jyothi D’Souza, Co-Founder of Secure Insurance Consultancy.
The Founder of Secure Insurance Consultancy, Mr. Prashanth Frank, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of protecting nature, preserving medicinal plants, and encouraging community participation in environmental conservation.
The Chief Guest, Shri K. Ishwara Poojary Kalai, a renowned Nati Vaidya and Traditional Medicine Expert, was felicitated during the programme. In his keynote address, he shared valuable insights into the significance of medicinal plants, traditional healing practices, and the responsibility of preserving nature for future generations.
One of the major highlights of the event was the Green Reel Contest, which encouraged participants to create informative videos showcasing the value and uses of medicinal plants. The competition was conducted across four age categories, and winners were selected based on:
- The highest number of medicinal plants introduced,
- Creativity and presentation of the video, and
- The highest number of social media likes.
The winners were honoured with prizes and certificates in recognition of their outstanding efforts. The contest received an enthusiastic response from children, students, parents, and adults, making it a meaningful initiative to spread awareness about environmental conservation.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Mrs. Anitha D’Souza, Admin Staff, Secure Insurance Consultancy, who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, Founder, participants, parents, guests, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
