













On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, a Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized on 14 June 2026 by Secure Insurance Consultancy with the support of Sevanjali Prathishtana, Farangipete, and conducted by the KMC Hospital Blood Centre.
The programme was hosted by Mrs Nisha Mithun Shetty, Administrator Manager of Secure Insurance Consultancy. She welcomed the gathering and highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation and its life-saving impact on society.
The programme commenced with a prayer led by Mr Joyson (Admin Staff) and Ms Manisha, invoking God’s blessings for the successful conduct of the event.
The dignitaries present on the dais included Hon’ble Mr Rajesh Naik Ulipady, MLA of Bantwal Assembly Constituency, Mr Krishna Kumar Poonja, Administrative Trustee of Sevanjali Prathishtana, Mr Vijay Kumar, Former President of Amtady Panchayat, and Mr Prashanth Frank, Founder of Secure Insurance Consultancy.
Mr G Manjunath, Tahsildar of Bantwal Taluk, conveyed his best wishes for the success of the Blood Donation Camp. His message appreciated the efforts of Secure Insurance Consultancy, Sevanjali Prathishtana, and all voluntary blood donors for organizing and participating in this noble initiative.
The guests and dignitaries were welcomed with floral bouquets by Mrs Jacintha Jyothi D’Souza, Co-Founder of Secure Insurance Consultancy. Floral welcomes were also extended to Dr Shruthi, Pathologist from KMC Hospital, the team from Dr Agarwal Eye Hospital, and Coordinator Mr Ashik Saliyan.
During the inaugural session, Mr Prashanth Frank delivered the introductory address and spoke about the importance of blood donation, its benefits, and the need for greater public participation in voluntary blood donation drives.
Mr Krishna Kumar Poonja addressed the gathering and emphasized the social responsibility of blood donation and the importance of supporting humanitarian initiatives.
Dr Shruthi, Pathologist from KMC Hospital, provided valuable information about blood donation, donor eligibility, safety measures, and the crucial role blood donors play in saving lives.
The Chief Guest, Hon’ble MLA Mr Rajesh Naik Ulipady, delivered an inspiring message appreciating the organizers and donors. He encouraged the public to actively participate in blood donation programmes and contribute towards building a healthier society.
A special felicitation ceremony was conducted to honour regular blood donors who have made significant contributions through repeated donations:
Mr Santhosh Monappa Amin, Maripalla – 24 Blood Donations
Mr Neelan D’Souza, Perlapady – 21 Blood Donations
Mr Sukesh Shetty – 13 Blood Donations
Mr Prashanth Kumar, Thumbe – 13 Blood Donations
Mr Zunaid – 48 Blood Donations and a dedicated Single Donor Platelet (SDP) Donor
The donors were felicitated by Hon’ble MLA Mr Rajesh Naik Ulipady in recognition of their outstanding commitment and selfless service towards saving lives. The felicitation arrangements were organized by Secure Insurance Consultancy.
The camp was also graced by several distinguished guests and well-wishers, including , Fr Victor D’Souza, Parish Priest of Infant Jesus Church, Modankap , Sr Latha, Principal of a Carmel Degree College, Sr Veera, Headmistress of Carmel High School, Modankap, and several respected social leaders and community members.
Breakfast and refreshments were arranged for all donors, guests, volunteers, and members of the medical team.
The Blood Donation Camp received an overwhelming response, with a total of 73 voluntary blood donors participating in this noble cause. As a token of appreciation, every donor was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation and a plant pot, symbolizing life, growth, and gratitude.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mrs Anitha D’Souza, Admin Staff, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the chief guest, dignitaries, medical professionals, donors, volunteers, supporters, and all participants for contributing to the success of the event.
